Gemma Beggs finishes her internship with Ocean College completing her Rescue, Divemaster and Instructor courses with us over the last few months. Go girlie! And to sum things up beautifully, she gets to do her first days' work on Boxing Day... "the best Christmas Present" she says.
Liveaboard The Emperor Frazer sinks near the Dunraven:
Sad news indeed. Thankfully all divers and crew are fine, and the Emperor team have spent the last few days salvaging what they can of people's posessions.
DiveBunnie becomes Lady Diver of the month:
As Clare reaches Dive number 2000, she is made Lady Diver of the Month by the gals at Lady Diver Magazine.
So it's Bye Bye Schniff, Lisa n Leila. Long time Sharmers Iain and Lisa leave Sharm this week with their little girlie Leila, who has kind of become our dive centre mascot. Good luck to the three of them in their new life up in Edinburgh.

The sad news is that the Million Hope wreck is now being salvaged for scrap (well sad for divers, not the salvage company!). The great news is that work is in progress to salvage the corals growing on it!
