about the Bunnie

One more thing!

Before I finish this diary, I just have to say a huge "THANK YOU!" to the big, scary, German cookie Monster Matt for doing our course, and making our knees shake with fear. And to Nando another instructor at Protec, who has drawn us maps everyday for the caves, and who answered the girlie questions I was too scared to ask Matt.

Guys you've been great!

I may have been very hard on Matt throughout this diary saying how tough he was on us, but believe me I am very grateful, as I now understand how going into this environment without good and proper training (which Matt gave us) could be detrimental to your heath!!!!

If you wish to do this cave course you need to be an Open Water diver with a minimum of 45 dives. Recommended is experience in twinsets but not required. From doing the course myself, I would definately say have a go in twinsets before hand. When we were there, we saw a couple starting the course who had never been in twinsets before and they struggled alot.

If this isnt for you but you like the idea of cavern diving, this is single tank diving, and again Open Water cert is required. The caverns are also beautiful.

I will soon be putting my training to the test as one of the team on the Jack Fish Alley Project in June. I will let you know how that goes.

And to the Cave Gods I say… "Muchas Gracias!"
