And now for some more fun divingSo the course is over. Matt did admit to us that the first two days of the course, he is a mean man. the intention of this is to break you. If you break, you shouldn't be doing this course. After my feelings today, I completely agree. We went to Nahoch. This is the most decorated cave, it is truly beautiful with stalagtites and stalagmites everywhere. We travelled 57 mins into the cave and about 800 metres. You can even hear the trucks passing on the road above you! It reminded me of a cathederal and of ruins all in one. Kind of like looking at organ pipes everywhere. I loved this dive all the way in, after we turned around I checked my computer: 60 minutes. At this point I got proper spooked. We have 50 minutes before I can pop my head out into fresh air!! This got me breathing heavy, I felt like my reg wasn't working properly and I couldn't get a full breath. I have never felt like this before underwater before, even when I have had major problems. I knew it was all in my mind but I couldn't stop it. I got myself sorted and to make things even better, we came across another cenote that we had passed on the way in and Jimmy signed up to have a look. He didn't know about my problems but I was grateful for that momentary breather. We dropped down again to finish the dive where we started. The total dive time was only 80 mins so it only took us 20 mins to get back as we had gone in so slowly. That was our only dive today.
